Alejandro is a Senior Paralegal. He has extensive experience advising companies in different industries on compliance with environmental regulations, regulatory risk management, and due diligence support in transactions where environmental, social, and governance factors are decisive for strategic decision-making.

He has participated in highly relevant environmental litigation in Costa Rica, as well as in projects related to the conservation of natural resources, water management, and the transition towards sustainable production models. In addition, he has collaborated with initiatives such as the Fideicomiso Agua Tica, the country’s first water fund, and the University of Oxford’s Climate Policy Monitor, analyzing Costa Rica’s climate regulatory framework as part of a global initiative that evaluates the alignment of national policies with carbon neutrality.

Alejandro completed his Law degree at the Universidad de Costa Rica and is currently developing his undergraduate thesis on risk management and regulatory limitations on land use due to natural hazards.
